Products
The Products page in the Corso Admin gives you a single place to browse all products Corso knows about — those synced from your Shopify store and any products created directly in Corso for off-platform registrations or warranty programs.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Course surfaces two kinds of products:
- Shopify products — pulled directly from your Shopify catalog. These are read-only in Corso. You manage their details in Shopify, and Corso reflects the current state.
- Corso products — products that exist in Corso but not in Shopify. These are common when you sell through retail partners or other channels and need customers to register or file warranty claims on items that were not purchased through your online store.
Navigate to Products in the sidebar of the Corso Admin to reach the product list.
What you can expect
Section titled “What you can expect”From the Products page you can:
- Browse and search all products Corso has on record.
- Open any product to see its title, image, variants, status, type, vendor, and tags.
- See which product groups and registration channels a product belongs to.
- Edit details on Corso products and delete them when they are no longer needed.
- Upload a CSV of products.
Shopify products
Section titled “Shopify products”When you open a Shopify product, the page header shows the product title as a link to the Shopify Admin record and displays Shopify as the product source beneath the title.
All fields — title, status, type, vendor, and tags — are read-only. The Product card also shows the product handle and the Shopify product ID for reference. To change any of these details, make the edit in Shopify. Corso will reflect the update automatically.
The Variants card lists each variant with its SKU, price, and options. The Organization card shows type, vendor, and tags. If the product belongs to any product groups or registration channels, those appear in their own cards on the right side of the page.
Corso products
Section titled “Corso products”Corso products display Corso as the product source beneath the title. Every field on the page is editable: title, status, type, vendor, and tags. When you make a change, a floating save bar appears at the bottom of the screen. Click Save to apply your changes or Discard to revert them.
Editing a Corso product
Section titled “Editing a Corso product”- Open the Products page from the sidebar.
- Find and click the product you want to edit.
- Update any of the following fields:
- Title — the product name shown to customers.
- Status — controls whether the product is active.
- Type — the product category.
- Vendor — the brand or supplier.
- Tags — labels used for filtering and product group rules. You can select existing tags or type a new one to create it.
- Click Save in the floating bar at the bottom of the page.
Deleting a Corso product
Section titled “Deleting a Corso product”Deleting a Corso product removes it from the catalog so it can no longer be selected during registration or warranty flows. Existing claim and registration history tied to the product is preserved.
- Open the product detail page.
- Click Delete Product from the secondary actions menu near the page title.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
Once deleted, the product is removed from the product list and is no longer available in customer-facing flows.
Product groups and registration channels
Section titled “Product groups and registration channels”The right column of any product detail page shows the product groups and registration channels the product belongs to. These are read-only on the product page itself. To add a product to a group or channel, manage those memberships from Managing Product Groups or from your registration channel settings.
