Claim Tags
Claim tags are internal labels you apply to claims and registrations to help your team filter, organize, and prioritize work. Tags are never shown to customers. Once you create a tag, you can apply it from any claim or registration detail page and use it as a filter in the corresponding list view.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Tags are managed from Settings > Tags in the Corso Admin. The page has three tabs:
- Claims (Return & Warranty) — tags for return and warranty claims
- Registration — tags for product registrations
- Shipping Claim — tags for shipping protection claims
Each tab manages its own set of tags independently. A tag created under the Claim tab is not available for Shipping Claims, and vice versa.
Managing tags
Section titled “Managing tags”Adding a tag
Section titled “Adding a tag”- Go to Settings > Tags.
- Select the tab for the type of tag you want to create: Claim, Registration, or Shipping Claim.
- Click Add Claim Tag, Add Registration Tag, or Add Shipping Claim Tag — the button label matches the active tab.
- Enter a name for the tag and save.
The tag becomes available immediately on all detail pages of that type.
Deleting a tag
Section titled “Deleting a tag”- Go to Settings > Tags and select the appropriate tab.
- Find the tag in the list and delete it.
Deleting a tag removes it from the available options. Existing claims that had the tag applied are not retroactively affected.
Applying tags to claims
Section titled “Applying tags to claims”Tags are applied from the detail page of a return or warranty claim, registration, or shipping protection claim. Each detail page includes a Tags card. Open the card, type or select a tag from the dropdown, and the change saves automatically. You can also type a new name to create a tag on the fly without returning to the settings page.
Tags in list views
Section titled “Tags in list views”The claims list, registrations list, and shipping claims list each include a Tags column that shows the tags applied to each record as badges. If a record has more than two tags, the list shows the first two and a count badge for the rest. Clicking the count badge reveals the remaining tags.
The Tags column is visible on desktop. It is hidden on mobile to keep the list readable.
Filtering by tag
Section titled “Filtering by tag”You can filter any list by tag using the Tag filter. Open the filter panel in the claims, registrations, or shipping claims list and select one or more tags to narrow results. Only tags of the matching type appear as options — Claim tags appear in the returns and warranty filter, Registration tags appear in the registrations filter, and Shipping Claim tags appear in the shipping protection filter.
