Allow Multiple Claims

Corso gives merchants the option to control whether multiple claims can be submitted against a single line item. By default, a line item can only have one claim submitted against it. Enabling Allow Multiple Claims removes this restriction, allowing customers to submit additional claims on the same product.

This setting is useful for products where multiple issues can arise independently over time. For example, if you sell a product with several replaceable components, a customer might need to submit a warranty claim for one part, and later submit another claim for a different part of the same item. Without this setting enabled, the second claim would be blocked.

You can configure this setting in the Corso Admin under your warranty settings. Toggle Allow Multiple Claims on to permit multiple claims per line item.

  • Each claim is still evaluated and processed individually.
  • Enabling this setting does not bypass any other eligibility rules, such as warranty period or claim reason requirements.
  • If you have concerns about potential abuse, consider using claim risk monitoring alongside this setting.
