Exporting Claims to CSV

Corso allows you to export claims into a CSV file for external reporting, sharing, or analysis. Whether you need warranty or return claim data for internal teams, manufacturers, or audits, exports make it easy to pull filtered data and custom field responses into a flexible format you can work with outside the platform.

With claim exports, you can:

  • Export claims from any saved view or filtered list
  • Choose which claim data columns to include in your export
  • Include custom field responses along with standard claim data
  • Automatically receive exports via email for easy access
  • Use the CSV file for analysis, reporting, or sharing with other teams

  • Exports are based on the current view or filters applied.
  • Use Saved Views (like “Warranties This Month”) or apply filters manually.
  • Example: Filter by date range to only export claims from the last 7 days.
  1. Click the Download button in the claims view.
  2. Select the data you want to include:
    • Columns: Choose from standard claim details (e.g., claim ID, customer info, claim type, resolution status).
    • Custom Field Responses: Include responses to any additional questions you’ve configured (e.g., serial number, repair request details).
  3. Confirm your selections and click Export.
  • The export is emailed to the user who requested it.
  • Open the email and download the CSV file.
  • Once downloaded, you can:
    • Filter and sort within Excel, Google Sheets, or another tool
    • Share the report with your team or manufacturers
    • Use the data for internal analysis and decision-making

To export claims:

  1. Navigate to the Claims View (warranties, returns, or all claims).
  2. Apply the filters you want to use.
  3. Click Download and select columns and custom fields.
  4. Click Export.
  5. Retrieve the CSV file from your email.

Q: Can I schedule exports to send automatically?
Currently, exports are requested manually. Saved views make it easy to apply the same filters repeatedly.

Q: Can I export both standard claim data and custom fields together?
Yes. You can select any combination of standard columns and custom field responses in your export.

Q: Where do exports get sent?
Exports are emailed to the logged-in user who requested the download.

Q: Do exports include attachments or uploaded media?
No. Media uploads (photos, videos) are not included in CSV exports. Only the claim data and custom field responses are exported.
