Testing Checkout Plus with Intelligems
Overview
Section titled “Overview”With Intelligems, you can test Checkout Plus in your theme. The Corso Checkout Plus settings make this easy to configure and run as part of an A/B test.
Add the Placeholders in Your Theme
Section titled “Add the Placeholders in Your Theme”- Add the necessary placeholders to your theme.
- The info element typically goes above the checkout button and the opt-out button goes below it.
- Corso can help add these quickly if needed.
- For the A/B test, comment out these placeholders in your theme first
In Intelligems, Make an Onsite Edit to Your A/B Test
Section titled “In Intelligems, Make an Onsite Edit to Your A/B Test”- Preview your Intelligems test and select the “B” group (the group where you want Checkout Plus enabled).
- Start an onsite edit and choose Select an Element.
- Select the area containing your checkout button content.
Uncomment the Placeholders for the B Test
Section titled “Uncomment the Placeholders for the B Test”- Open the Intelligems HTML editor.
- Locate the commented-out placeholders.
- Uncomment them so Checkout Plus is visible in the B group.

Uncomment Other Placeholders as Needed
Section titled “Uncomment Other Placeholders as Needed”- If your theme has multiple checkout buttons (for example, in a side drawer and on the cart page), repeat the process in each location.
Save Changes
Section titled “Save Changes”-
Apply and save your changes in Intelligems.

Use the group toggle to confirm that Checkout Plus is only visible in the B group.
