Claim Summary Overview

The Claim Summary Page gives customers a clear breakdown of what they’re returning, how much they’ll receive, and allows them to choose between a refund or store credit — all while dynamically reflecting incentives and fees based on your brand settings.


  • Lists the items being returned.
  • Shows the total return value that can be applied to refunds or exchanges.
  • Displays any exchanges the customer has selected (e.g., a jacket in a new size).
  • Shows the remaining amount eligible for refund or store credit.
  • Store credit is pre-selected by default.
  • Incentives (e.g., 20% bonus) are clearly shown and factored into the total.
  • Encourages customers to keep funds with the brand.
  • If the customer chooses a refund instead:
    • Incentives are removed.
    • A return handling fee (if configured) is applied and shown.
    • Refund total is automatically recalculated.

You can configure:

  • Incentive Percentage (e.g., 20% bonus for store credit)
  • Return Handling Fees (flat fee, named fee)
  • Default payout option (gift card or refund)
  • Dynamic Messaging at the top of the summary

Changes made in the admin (like increasing the incentive or adjusting the fee) will instantly reflect in the customer-facing summary.
