Collecting Marketing Consent
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Corso’s registrations functionality gives brands the ability to collect marketing consent directly from customers as part of the registration process. Whether customers register products through a dedicated registration portal or an embedded form on your site, they can opt in to receive marketing communications from your brand.
This not only helps you comply with consent requirements but also opens up opportunities to grow your marketing audience with verified customers who have purchased outside of Shopify, such as through retail or third-party marketplaces.
What You Can Expect
Section titled “What You Can Expect”By enabling marketing consent collection, your brand can:
- Capture explicit opt-in consent from customers during product registration.
- Customize consent titles, descriptions, and policy links to match your brand’s voice and compliance requirements.
- Automatically pass consent data into Klaviyo (or your marketing platform) for immediate use in flows, segmentation, and campaigns.
- Create differentiated experiences for opted-in vs. opted-out customers, ensuring compliance while maximizing engagement.
- Leverage additional registration event data (such as purchase channel) to deliver more personalized marketing.
