Corso In-App Alerts

Corso now includes in-app alerts designed to keep you informed of important updates, system issues, and helpful notifications directly within the platform. Alerts ensure that you have visibility into both urgent problems that may affect performance and general updates that improve your day-to-day workflows.

With in-app alerts, you gain a central hub for timely and relevant notifications. This helps you:

  • Quickly identify and resolve system issues that may block claims, labels, or payments
  • Stay informed of new product updates, release notes, and feature announcements
  • Access and download exports directly from the alerts panel instead of relying only on email
  • Review both active and historical alerts for full visibility into past events

By consolidating these updates in one location, Corso makes it easier to keep your returns, exchanges, warranties, and other workflows running smoothly.

  • Alerts appear as a bright orange banner across the top of the Corso Admin whenever there are notifications that need attention.
  • The bell icon in the top-right corner houses all alerts, organized chronologically.

These are surfaced when a system-level issue requires your immediate attention. Examples include:

  • Stripe currency errors (payment failing due to unsupported currencies)
  • Provider API key issues (invalid or deleted keys for carriers like EasyPost or Vesyl)
  • Shipping provider payment issues (no funds or expired card on file with your carrier)

These alerts notify you of critical issues that Corso cannot automatically resolve but that may disrupt workflows.

Notifications for missing or incomplete setup items, such as unconfigured shipping providers or required settings that need updating. Clicking the alert takes you directly to the relevant setup page.

When you generate a claim export or report, alerts notify you when it’s ready. You can download the file directly from the alert and revisit past exports without needing to regenerate them.

Corso uses alerts to share release notes and feature announcements, keeping you informed of improvements and new tools available within the platform.

  • Unread View: New alerts appear in your active list until you mark them as read.
  • Historical View: Cleared alerts are stored chronologically, so you can reference past notifications at any time.
  • Links & Actions: Many alerts include direct links or actions to help you quickly resolve issues or access new functionality.

Q: Who can see alerts?
Alerts are user-specific. Each admin user will see and manage their own alerts.

Q: Can I download old exports from alerts?
Yes. All past exports remain accessible from the alerts panel.

Q: What happens when I clear an alert?
Clearing an alert removes it from your active view, but it remains available in your historical log.

Q: Do I still receive email notifications?
Yes. For certain actions like exports, email delivery is still supported, but alerts provide a faster in-app option.
