Hiding Checkout Plus by Product SKU

Some products aren’t eligible or appropriate for shipping protection (e.g. digital goods, warranties, low-cost items). With this update, brands can now exclude specific SKUs from triggering the Checkout Plus widget.

Corso can now hide the Checkout Plus widget based on specific product SKUs. If a product in the customer’s cart is tagged as ineligible, the protection offer will not appear during checkout.

  • SKU Exclusion:
Corso’s team can set any product SKU to opt out of Checkout Plus.

  • Widget Visibility:
If an ineligible SKU is in the cart, Checkout Plus will not display, even if other eligible products are present.

  • Automatic Reappearance:
If the ineligible product is removed, the widget will reappear automatically.

  • Common Use Cases:

    • Digital/downloadable products
    • Items already covered by warranties
    • Products the brand chooses not to protect

  • More control and flexibility for brands
  • Prevents confusion or unnecessary protection on non-eligible items
  • Clean customer experience: widget appears only when applicable

To configure this, contact Corso Support with a list of SKUs you’d like to exclude.
